Yes, PETA has some extreme stances (against owning pets for example) but this is a video and article that I felt was too gruesome to be tossed aside as an “extremist cause.”

I hate re-blogging. I’m sorry it isn’t my own work but in an area I feel strongly about I would rather have people that have devoted their lives give you the rest of the details.

With the 2012 presidential election around the corner, many American’s try to figure out what they have missed in the last four years. Of course, there will be many on the Right who believe Obama has taxed this country into oblivion. They will  believe that Obama alone is responsible for the rising gas prices. So the question remains, what has Obama done?

Obama has actually cut taxes. Sure this helps keep American wallets a little bit fatter, but I would rather see taxes raised. Bill Maher,

although he donated $1,000,000 to Obama’s re-election efforts, has been very critical of some of Obama’s decisions. Maher argued that this country needs a 3rd party, a real leftist party. I support a nationalized health care system, but I do not support a health care system that no one contributes to.

Part of the Social Contract that must be present in a socialized system must include requirements an individual must meet to be taken care of by society. It is not enough to be entitled to benefits because you were born in America.

So do I agree with the Right? Yes.

The solution, however, is not to throw out healthcare. It is to require something in exchange for healthcare.

So Obama, stop barking. Bite.

The Liberal Media Does Not Have a Double Standard

Rush Limbaugh called a woman a slut, and his advertisers pulled their support of his show. According to Fox news this displays the left’s “double standard” as Maher donated $1,000,000 to Obama’s campaign. It seems, however, that the liberal media is actually more concerned with controversial comments than Fox is.

When analyzing this situation one must remember that Maher was actually FIRED from ABC news after making “controversial” statements about 9/11. He now works for HBO which is not a hard news station that Fox is supposed to be.

Let us now look at Rush’s situation. A women who felt that if men received Viagra from the government, women should have the right to birth-control. He called this woman a slut, just like the 98% of Catholic women who use birth-control must be to him. Did Fox fire him? No.

So, which station is actually bias?
